System of Chemical Treatment Management
Chemical Treatment Management System is a comprehensive mitigation response to complications arising during oil and gas production, treatment and transportation. All projects related to chemical treatment management are implemented by the engineers of Technical Services Department.
Our specialists provide a total range of activities within the implementation of chemical treatment management projects, including:
- study of current and potential production problems;
- selection of chemicals and application techniques, check for compatibility and efficient usage with products manufactured by other chemical companies;
- carrying out field trials of chemicals;
- chemical injection operations and maintenance of facilities;
- monitoring that includes control over proper well operation, assessment of chemicals application, mean-time-between failures, control over chemicals consumption, evaluation of complicating factors, monitoring of efficiency based on the results obtained;
- corrective measures taken to enhance the efficiency of chemical treatment.
All chemical treatment management projects were implemented using the most efficient chemicals that had been field tested and gave the best results for a particular oilfield.
The implementation of chemical treatment management project at oil production or any other site involves a package of measures from the analysis of particular complications arising at any stage of oil and gas production till treatment procedures and injection of chemicals followed by monitoring, assessment of results and submitting reports, used in the determination of current KPI (key performance indicator) (See the diagram).
The principle of KPI determination encourages the Contractor to achieve final operational benefits (reduction of accident rate, increase of nonfailure operation time, etc), rather than benefits acquired due to a single operation (injection of a chemical, filling-up chemical feeders, removal of corrosion control units, etc).
